Dreadloch Rapier

This energy weapon is a one handed modification of the Dreadloch Thrasher. It shares the special nanite aspect with its big brother in that there is occasionally a build-up of corrosive nanites that form in the particle stream, however as the rapier has a smaller particle stream the effect is rarer. When this occurs the nanites can reduce the effectiveness of armor.
